    Does it ring ANY bell?

It's called Chinga & was written by Stephen King. Good mix of horror & comedy in that one.

    Edit: it's a season 5 episode.

        Totally.
I own all 9 seasons, a lot of books, memorabilia and video games.
I was addicted. Mulder and Scully had a screen chemistry unlike any other before(or after) them.

I even enjoyed Robert Patrick's character, John Doggett. Likable and pretty level headed, the criticism of the final 2-3 seasons werent justified at all.
The Black Oil saga was also my favorite of the whole series.
I could go on... but I tend to waffle...

Agreed.. The most important thing (considering the fanbases love of mulder) is that he was a likable character. I dug his blue collar outlook on things too.

Reyes was a little dull but not a terrible addition by any means.

Without a doubt my favourite TV show, but I wasn't always a fan. I remember watchin' the first two seasons when they aired (specially remember The Erlenmeyer Flask and The Host) then didn't get back into it until the flick came out in '98, at which time I really got into it; I was buyin' the bi-monthly zine, season companions, and all sorts of shit.

Around this time the local sci-fi channel aired reruns nightly while the show was in it's sixth season, and I managed to see 'em all, catchin' up to the movie. I still have a boat load of VHS' full of random episodes taped off the TV. Then, by about the end of the seventh season I got bored with it and stopped watchin'.

I'm currently makin' my way the through the series again (first time since I originally saw it, other than the mytho) and am lookin' forward to the later episodes I've yet to see.

I've got so many favourites, and because it's The X-Files, I'm gonna flood this thread with a few from each season that immediately come to mind:

            1:
            • Squeeze
            • Ice
            • Tooms
            • The Erlenmeyer Flask

2: (workin' my way through this season, haven't seen it in years.)
            • The Host
            • Duane Barry
            • Die Hand die verletzt
            • Humbug

            3:
            • D.P.O.
            • Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose
            • Grotesque
            • Piper Maru
            • Apocrypha
            • Pusher
            • Jose Chung's 'From Outer Space'

            4:
            • Home
            • Musings of a Cigarette Smoking Man
            • Tunguska
            • Terma
            • Leonard Betts
            • Small Potatoes
            • Gethsemane

            5:
            • Redux

            • The Post-Modern Prometheus

            • Bad Blood
            • Patient X
            • The Red and the Black
            6:
            • Triangle
            • Dreamland
            • Dreamland II
            • Terms of Endearment
            • Two Fathers
            • One Son
            • Monday
            • Arcadia
            • Field Trip

            7:
            • Millennium
            • X-Cops
            • First Person Shooter
            • Hollywood A.D.
            • Requiem

Need a refresher, and still have to see all of eight and nine.

It's a darker, grittier version of the X-Files and Lance Henriksen is the fucking man.
            Second that.

I havent gotten scared or even gotten the chills from more that maybe 3 horror movies that last 8 years or so. Now I started watching X-files right from the first episode, and I've already gotten the chills a couple of times I love the way it's been filmed and cut!!

I absolutely love the Xfiles show, I own the series, and I watch it alot.

Is it weird to say that the Xfiles kind of helped shape me into the ufo-hunting conspiracy theory loving girl that I am today?

Fox Mulder will forever hold a place in my heart, I think I was seriously in love with him when I was in junior high when they first started showing the series. <3

Been with it since "The Host" (episode 2 of season 2). Have all the DVDs: the fat and skinny season DVDs, the Mythology DVD sets, the 1st movie and now the Revelations DVD. Have both games (actually, there's a 3rd game, but that's super-rare to find now). I even have some of the VHS's and comic books. Even have one of the books. I'm a hardcore fan, and I know my shit about the X-Files. Don't fuck with the X-Files nerd.

The cliffhanger for season 3 (the season 2, season 3 cliffhanger I mean) is the best of them all imo. The one where you think Mulder committed suicide is the second best.

thought the thread needed to be brought back and I think there is alot more fans like myself that hasn't sounded off yet on here so lets hear whats on your mind about one of the best series out there. Remember If you have seen the new X-files movie it starts growing on you after the second or third viewing so if you haven't watched it more than once you should. I have heard alot of complaints about the movie form fellow friends that are big fans of the show and after talking them into watching it again they seem to have "warmed up" to the movie and have enjoyed it the more they viewed it.

Remember folks "The Truth IS Out There"

X Files is my all time favorite TV series. One of the happiest days for me was when they released the Mythology box set. It was a tad expensive but so worth it.

I got to thinking yesterday though, how awesome would it be to have Fox Mulder's personality meshed with Hank Moody. Greatest, character, ever.
