Right, 'cause the world is just buzzing about this 4th entry to an already tired franchise. I can't seem to go anywhere without hearing about Jurassic World. It's the next Hunger Games.

$30 - $40 million opening weekend if they're lucky, and then out of existence it will quickly go. Count on it.

TerrorVision was particularly brilliant, one of my favorites. The Video Dead is a great slice of 80's cheese, though I do have a couple minor issues with it.

      • Christopher Nolan's Following. I enjoyed it. It's not the greatest neo noir, but it was solid enough. I was surprised at how similar the narrative style was to Memento.

A trashy backwoods "slasher" with little to no gore, incredibly weak kills (ooohhhhh, flying starfish bloodsuckers!) and zero nudity. I don't even see how this got an R rating...The only thing the movie really has going for it is the drunken performance from the late great Jack Palance. Oh, and the poster....

Have you seen this recently, or is it a childhood favorite? Nostalgia factor is just about the only reason I can see someone liking this dull snoozefest. I mean, seriously....what is there to like about this movie?

Very cool seeing him play with that a few years before Memento.

Put "2 Fast 2 Furious" in B&W and Se7en thinks he's watching a Bergman film.
I find the Metal Gear Solid series to be mediocre at best.

Tell me where this movie touched you...because you're clearly taking it personally.

Incredible film. So many twists and turns that got me.

Yup. Those first thirty minutes with the teacher were so tense. Brilliant, rough storytelling that we sadly don't get enough of here in North America.

I was wondering how it would play out after the teacher part, and the film just continued to blow me away.

I've been on a good movie watching streak lately and this one broke that streak. So fuck it in the asshole!

90 minutes of my life I'll never get back...

Yeah, I don't know what movie you saw but there was gore. The shack scene....hello? And no nudity is a non-issue for me. I've never given two baby spinnach shits if a movie has naked people in it or not. I have porn for that. Like I said, it ain't a masterpiece by any means, but it's definitely a nice little way to kill an hour and a half.

And no, it's not nostalgia. I saw it for the first time about a month ago. Scream Factory are the ones who introduced me to it actually.

That?! That was nothing! Just a few people hanging with a little bit of goo dropping off their faces. Most of the kills happened off screen and the ones that didn't....FLYING STARFISH! Lame...

It did have that hot bitch from Humanoids From The Deep, though. And she was butt naked in that, so why not this? Nudity is always good, and this movie needed all the help it could get.

I would warn all those blindbuyers out there. Definitely check this out before you pay upwards of $20 for the SF Blu.

Yeah. That was gore. Was it over the top, splatter movie style gore? No. But it was some rather nice looking minimal gore that got the job done.

Uh huh. I've seen boobs before. Them not being in every trashy horror flick isn't going to help or kill a rating. They're just tits dude.

Seriously, it isn't amazing or anything. I recall giving it a 7.5 when I posted my review here......but damn, you act like it was responsible for burning down an orphanage or something
