Astron-6 has done it again. Hilarious spoof/homage of '70's Giallo flicks. Fantastic photography and score, the gore was super wet and much like Astron 6's other work it had me dying from laughter.

Brilliant stuff but it won't work for people not familiar with Italian cinema.

          Pandorum (2009, Christian Alvart) - 5.5/10

          Syndromes and a Century (2006, Apichatpong Weerasethakul) - 9.5/10

Put "2 Fast 2 Furious" in B&W and Se7en thinks he's watching a Bergman film.
I find the Metal Gear Solid series to be mediocre at best.

Though I don't think that you need to be familiar with Italian cinema to enjoy it. I think it's good enough for anyone to enjoy. They just won't get as much out of it as people like us will.

Neat scifi thriller. Ryan Reynolds is amazing as usual.

A dying billionaire business man has his 'soul' put into a younger man for 250.00 million dollars. Sounds awesome yeah? well morals and feelings come into play when he looks into some of the flashbacks he goes through and sees this younger mans life.

              • Time Lapse - A surprisingly decent indie sci-fi "what if you knew the future" flick. It's biggest drawback was the grinding halt the narrative took in the middle of the movie - the pace just disappeared until closer to the end. However, the timey-wimey aspects of the film were actually pretty good. - 7/10
