"Misery"......A great and entertaining psychological thriller featuring a dynamic performance by Kathy Bates in her Oscar winning role. Bates is funny, campy, over the top, thrilling, and mesmerizing. James Caan is also terrific and solid. Wonderful supporting cast, suspense, drama, screenplay, and direction. The sledgehammer and final confrontation scenes crackle with suspense and thrills. Misery is a top notch thriller.

"Maximum Overdrive".....This is such classic 80's cheese. A real cheesefest..but a fun and entertaining one at that. The cast was all over the place as are the performances. The directing from Stephen King was actually pretty good for his 1st time. Makeup was good and the special effects were awesome in some scenes and just ok in others. GREAT soundtrack by ACDC too. I have seen this movie many many times since I was 12 years old and enjoy it everytime. It's a guilty pleasure and one I like to revisit from time to time.

man behind the sun - what a fucked up movie. Its hard to take something serious when it has voice overs. Its good but dont think i can watch it again.

"Hell Of The Living Dead".....Oh man what a laughable pile of garbage this is. Bad directing, atrocious screenplay/dialogue,stupid characters, bad makeup and gore effects, piss poor performances, and stupid use of real wildlife footage. Not to mention this movie is a HUGE ripoff of Dawn Of the Dead. BUT...there were some cool moments. The mansion scenes with the cat and the old woman's corpse as well as the last 15 minutes of the movie. I am a huge zombie and gore fan.....so I tolerate this movie.

Going to dig into my big library of Japanese horrors.

Got a box set in the mail that has a shit load of movies that would not even be allowed in America.

Also going to watch Let The Right One In and Deadgirl.

Haven't heard anything about Deadgirl apparently its best if I go in blind.
