    But-bu-bu-but, the cinematography, man.

But in all seriousness, I don't get why this is so highly acclaimed. Casino Royale was a lot better.
Casino Royale was not only better, it was the perfect reboot. After I saw this, it drove me crazy reading all the reviews claiming "Bond is reborn!". Say what? Are we just going to pretend that Casino Royale never happened?

    Skyfall is so fucking overrated.

yeah I think Casino Royale is easily the best Craig movie...

But this isn't really bad... it just didn't work for me... at all. Despite me disliking this version of james bond... I really think this movie just recycles other elements from other, better movies.

Count me in the minority, but I was not impressed.

Skyfall is just an action movie. A good looking one but still just an action movie. I think most critics hold it in such high regards as it's a massive improvement over QOS. You can't deny that that film is pretty shit. Javier Bardem playing a pretty good villain doesn't hurt either.

Yeah man, it is one illuminated dot in the movie. Too bad it's an only technical one, yet still serves the story well.
And-an-an-an-and, the score. The fantastic title sequence, paying tribute to the older Bonds. And the fantastic villain.
Skyfall ain't overrated, it is just one of the better entries in the franchise. Nothing to hate about here anymore.

Heretic had also this theory - and admittedly had some good points. But when you had a really bad day, you can deconstruct any given movie, even the ones which are considered classics.

Skyfall was my first Bond movie and I really enjoyed it! Wonderful directing and action set-pieces. It would've been even better if Silva appeared right from the beginning.

            9/10

              Agreed.

I've watched Skyfall 3 times lately, and I've enjoyed it as much each time. Goldfinger is still my favorite Bond-film, though.
