It took me a few watches to get into first film but I'll still give this a crack.

        VERY worried.
Both of those films are decisively better than they had any right to be, due almost entirely to the direction. In Cry Wolf, the one thing that really stands out is the aesthetic/visual choices.

I would rather have had Vaughn back but Wadlow is talented; not mad at this choice, not mad at all.

First one was meh, it would have been better without Nic Cage and his retarded Batman wannabe costume. The villains son pissed me off. He seemed pretty gay at first and then he started posing as a super hero it reminded me of something Seth Green could pull off which I don't find very impressive. I will sit this one out and maybe try something more constructive like auto-erotic affixiation in my closet like David Carradine.

We shall see. I'm keeping my expectations in check though.

                    Red Band trailer:

The new director still has me worried, but this trailer looks pretty good, and has the same vibe as the first film. Carrey looks like he's having a lot of fun.

Vaughn personally selected the director for the sequel and I trust him 100%.

                        Looks awesome. Carrey FTW.
