I thought episode 2 was really good. Mushroom guy was a pretty unique serial killer. His modus operandi reminded me of Farmer Vincent from Motel Hell.

I'm not sure though whether a "serial killer of the week" formula will help or hurt the show.

Next week's episode looks to be a bit of a departure from that.
I thought the second episode was fantastic. This show is has a lot of class which elevates it above the standard crime drama TV we always see.

I love the surreal elements and the killer this week was very unique.

Mads Mikkelson (sp) has sold me now. He's really growing into his role as Hannibal and already I think his portrayal is second behind Hopkins in Silence and better than the Hannibal we saw in Hannibal and Red Dragon.

I hope they don't fuck this up because this series has the potential to be outstanding.

I love mads and This show is great. I really like how introverted Will is compared to the other versions of him. this shit really troubles him and his imagination is really fucked.

Mushrooms... that actually managed to make me queasy. Fuuucked up.

This show is surprisingly dark and the overall atmosphere is just creepy and disturbing.

        Great stuff.

Hopefully NBC doesn't fuck this up. They've been getting as bad as FOX when it comes to cancelling shows early.

              Another great episode.

Next week's episode looks like it's going to be pretty gory for network tv.

Caught the first episode two nights ago. At least I think it's the first.

I actually liked it. I'm by no means a TV show guy. I generally don't watch anything.

This though, this I can watch. Such an interesting character. Look forward to see how it goes.

I love how the first two killers on the show each have their own twisted logic like that.

It appears my local news, in their infinite wisdom, decided to break in half way through this weeks Hannibal to report on the Boston hoopla, so my dvr only got half the episode

I think NBC streams episodes for free a day or two after one airs.

Yeah I figured I'd check it out that way, I just hate it when the news does this kneejerk shit, in today's day and age there's no need for the media, with the exception of something on the scale of 9/11, to break into programming for those types of reporting. I could understand the local stations in Massachusetts doing it but I'm in Oregon, I could have waited till the 11 O'clock news to find out they caught one of those muppetfuckers.
