I've actually watched it twice...great movie. I liked how it (sort of) goes into how aspects of skinhead culture were based on elements of Jamaican ska and reggae music. Some trivia on the film I thought was interesting:
"Turgoose (main character) had never acted before, had been banned from his school play for bad behaviour, and demanded £5 to turn up for the film's auditions.  The film was dedicated to Turgoose's mother, Sharon, who died on December 29, 2005; before she had a chance to see the film."
Also...IFC is doing this new thing called IFC in Theaters. If you're cable company offers On Demand ( I have Comcast) you can watch indie flicks that are in the theaters for around $5 or $6. This is how I saw This is England without having to find a theater near me that was playing it.
