It is to me, mainly because I refused to waste my time learning it.

You actively protested against learning 1337? That's kinda nerdy, bro.

          Anyway... Before we get infracted...

Shogun Assassin is one of my favorite foreign films.

Protested? No. I did; however, refuse to even acknowledge it's existence.

Yeah that movie is great. I'd love to see the rest of the series. I heard the dude kills 150 people on screen in "White Heaven & Hell"

Guys like you may think your coming off as hardcore know-it-alls, but really you just sound like an immature snob who obviously has a huge chip on his shoulder...

anyway, I love most of the movies on your list GutPunch, especially anything by Park or Miike. You should check a classic called Kwaidan. It recieved a Criterion release a few years back. This film is the grandfather of asian horror.

If you're gonna do something, do it right.

It's a pretty good fight. All of them have crazy endings though. You can watch them as they are in the Shogun Assassin versions(5 movies), or as they are as the Lone Wolf & Cub versions(6 movies). I've done both.

Riki-Oh is another of my favorite foreign movies.

Sweet! I had no idea there were 2 versions. I've got to get them all.

Yeah, the Shogun Assassin versions are dubbed with new music. The Lone Wolf & Cub versions are subtitled with original music(I think).
