[Trailer] Woo Eldritch Horrors For Dates in ‘Sucker For Love: First Date’ This January
After showing glimpses of Sucker For Love: First Date as part of the Dread X Collection Volume 2 collection, Dread XP have announced that Akabaka’s Eldritch horror dating sim will arrive on Steam January 13, 2022. Even better, to “tide you over”, Dread XP have also announced that the first chapter/original version of the game, Sucker for Love: Prelude, will be available for free on December 15 via Steam.
As you might surmise, Sucker For Love sees you trying to woo one of three Eldritch Terrors after summoning them through the aid of a pink Necronomicon. Of course, failure to keep your date happy can result in some rather dire consequences, so be prepared to compromise with your date on some life-or-death topics.
First Date “cleverly re-imagines the visual novel genre through immersive gameplay mechanics, with each decision made significantly impacting how the game plays and the story unfolds.”
In addition to helping out with KARMA: The Dark World, Wired Productions has also announced that their upcoming gory action title Gori: Cuddly Carnage finally has a release date. The Angry Demon Studio-developed title will arrive on PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch on August 29. Digital pre-orders for the PlayStation versions include two days of early access on August 27.
“Gori: Cuddly Carnage is a throwback to the games I played in the late 90’s and 2000’s,” explains Leo Zullo, Managing Director of publisher Wired Productions. “It’s pure adrenaline, fun, outrageous and really a showcase of just what indie gaming is all about – a place for creativity, freedom and the ability to make the game you want to make.”

Gori: Cuddly Carnage focuses on Cool-Toys Inc.. Fueled by insatiable demand, the toy company created Ultra Pets, the ultimate companions that never hunger, never require bathroom breaks and are impervious to the ravages of time. Little did anyone expect a mutation that would transform these perfect pets into twisted toys straight from your nightmares, hell-bent on wiping out humanity. What’s worse, the Adorable Army has kidnapped Professor Y, Gori’s creator, and the only human who showed him and his friends love.
It’s now up to Gori with his wise-cracking sentient hoverboard, F.R.A.N.K, and morose A.I companion, CH1-P, to slay the Adorable Army with explosive weaponry and devastating combos in an epic battle to prevent the Adorable Army from conquering the galaxy.
