I have 'Placebo' and 'Sleeping with ghosts'

Nancy Boy is one of my favourite ever songs

Anyone get the Sleeping with Ghosts double disc album? The second disc is entirely covers but it's fantastic. Especially their versions of Bigmouth Strikes Again (The Smiths) and Johnny and Mary (Robert Palmer)

I thought that cover was horrible but I did like their Depeche Mode cover.

Maybe it's because i heard this cover before i became a fan of The Smiths If it was the other way round i might've hated it.

Also, i think Brian Molko was born to sing 21st Century Boy lol.

Meh, their cover of Bigmouth Strikes Again is okay. It's nothing spectacular. It's definately not even close to the awesomeness of the original.

I used to love Placebo, mostly because I was in love with a girl who loved them. But they actually grew on me, and I still pop in "Without You I'm Nothing" from time to time. Great album, that is.

Favorite songs would be Brick Shithouse, Special K, Pure Morning, and (yes I know how cliche) Every You Every Me.

I don't have it but I've got Running Up That Hill from it. It's fantastic. It made me look up more of Placebo's music

Fucking love them. They are officially my favorite band.
Also I know it is unauthorized but I totally ordered the Placebo Boxset.

Despite a good first album and some decent singles here and there, I find Placebo to be very middle of the road.

Great band. I find that I can listen to most of their songs regularly, without getting bored. A lot of them really stick in your head.
