I'm happy they finally did something that was a bit shocking. It's been so long since we've seen something like that. Something that genuinely made the crowd go "Oh' shit!".

For all the Bryan marks bitching about it, just think, it could be a lot worse. You could be bitching about Cena winning again. This sets up a long run for Bryan. He can work a long program chasing down the title, and feuding with the Mcmahon regime. It's probably better for Bryan in the long run, than if he had just walked out the champion last night.
It was pretty well documented by the dirtsheets last week that HHH was turning on Bryan and giving Orton the easy win. It was also easy to figure out as there was 15 minutes left after Bryan won the title and Orton didn't have a match on the PPV. Not sure about it being a good swerve but the writers are pretty paint by the numbers the past 5 years and logic isn't their strong area.

Guess I'm a Bryan "mark"? Followed the dude since he has started out and been a huge fan since the start. I didn't even care if Cena retained as that's how the WWE goes. I don't really care if somebody labels me a "mark"......but it's confusing (coming from a past wrestler myself ,30 years of being a fan, and never going on tangents here or anywhere about how awesome Bryan or anybody else is as I don't get that riled up ).

It did look silly for a pedigree to knock Byran out for that long. That's my beef really not that Orton cashed in. But I like some of that stuff called logic and continuity which has been sorely lacking for a long time.

    Meh......who are you again?

Meh, the dirtsheets are rarely on the money. I swear, sometimes Vince reads them, and changes shit(for better or worse...mostly worse), at the last second, just to spite them. Vince hates the internet fans getting what they want, or predict. Hence why I was so shocked that they went with that finish last night.

A lot of people were predicting it, but a lot of those same people were saying "it will never happen, because that would actually be interesting."

It's easy to say we all saw it coming, after it happened, but I can't count how many seemingly obvious twists that have been talked about this past year, and never happened.

Two off the top of my head would be Lesnar helping Punk keep the title, and a new member(or leader) of The Shield being revealed. Nothing ever happened with them.

Being a mark for certain wrestler isn't an insult or anything, if that's what you think. It basically just means you're a huge fan of a guy, and get legit pissed when he gets fucked over in a storyline. I'm a mark for certain guys too.

Hey man, the Pedigree knocked Booker T out in a match, for like four minutes one time.

Would it really have made a difference if Orton RKO'd Bryan's corpse?

Thought the main event would go either of two ways: 1. Cena retaining (unlikely since needs time off to heal up with surgery) 2. HHH screwing Bryan to allow Orton to capture the title.

Most "rumors" comes from bad sources but there are a few sites/individuals that have a better track record then most and usually are true more often than not. This seemed pretty set in stone although you are correct that Vince often gets pissed when an ending gets leaked so changes it around. Just thought they could have written a much better way of executing their plan. Hey what can I say.....I'm a fan and I like to bitch

Just to be devil's advocate, didn't CM Punk kick out of two pedigrees in the recent HHH/Punk match? He kicked out of two pedigrees!!!!!! (think JR's voice on that!).

        • RAW was entertaining. The ending of RAW felt like an episode of the attitude era in a way

Hopefully DB gets the title back from Orton.

Nice to see the tag division getting thicker .. Even tho most of the teams are lame.

          • Just watched summerslam (yet to watch raw) and thought Punk Vs Lesnar was outstanding! If I was to introduce a friend to wrestling that's the kind of match I would show him.

I wasn't initially interested in Del Rio Vs Christian but damn they pulled of a great match and credit to them. I don't know how Del Rio gets away with those kicks.

Cena Vs Bryan was another great match. As for the ending I think we all saw Orton coming but I didn't know what direction it was going to go. The pedigree surprised me (don't know why, HHH had absolutely no other purpose lol) and while I thought I'd be pissed I must admit I'm intrigued. Having said that if Bryan doesn't reclaim the belt then this will be looked on as the time Bryan's career got screwed, I'm optimistic though.

I'm looking forward to Raw so I guess they have succeeded to some degree already.

Yeah it was like the Corporation was back, i really dug it! The matadors are a repackaged Epico and Primo, seems like a lame gimmick but they are great wrestlers so I'm interested to see how they do. Wonder if they keep Rosa Mendas as well cause she is super hot!

I'm glad the focus remains on Bryan as well, hopefully creative won't drop the ball.

Cena's injury looked nasty, respect to him for competing. HOWEVER I'm so sick of his nice guy act, laughing when the crowd shits on him and sucking the dick of the man that just beat him for the belt. He comes across so lame, when you're booed turn around and say "I make millions, I've had 13 world title reigns and I'm banging one of the Bella Twins." There's no comeback to that. Punk verbally destroyed the fat guy in the front row and the crowd loved it cause he acts like a wrestler should act.

The Shield look better again and Roman Reigns is just a beast.

RVD should win the title off Del Rio.

Some legit "Holy Shit" moments in that match. 4 or 5 moments you wouldn't see on WWE tv. They really need to give back the talented wrestlers the ability to go out there and tear it up.

                  Gotta love and appreciate this:

It was true for the most part. I enjoyed it.

They should milk the Orton/Bryan storyline.

Overall a decent Raw. HHH/Orton being evil together with The Shield helping them reminds me of an old school episode of Raw. I like it.

They're dropping the ball with some wrestlers tho. Ryback/Mark Henry and The Bigshow look like they're on pause/in limbo.

I'm glad they made Curtis Axel look half strong tonight. They've recently had him in glorified jobber status for awhile (like poor Christian) but it looks like (lil perfect) is breaking out of it.

RVD is getting the push because Sheamus is hurt and they need a face.

I've been hearing that HHH has more of a role in creative these days, so hopefully these past few shows, which have been a big improvement, are a sign of things to come. The shows have a lot less filler, and most of the roster are involved in some sort of angle.

I like Ryback's bully gimmick. It's the most convincing he's ever been.

Good. The less Sheamus I see, the better.

Putting Ricardo with RVD was stupid though.

I don't feel like killing myself when I'm watching anymore so that's a good sign.

Put "2 Fast 2 Furious" in B&W and Se7en thinks he's watching a Bergman film.
I find the Metal Gear Solid series to be mediocre at best.

                            • The Miz just stopped by the base to visit troops and things. Bumped into him while we were getting food and he was actually pretty down to Earth. Quite bigger in person than I remember from about a year ago when I last saw him.

Is he as loud and obnoxious in person as people like Punk say he is?
