    I think he's just a pothead.

I'd argue that weed is a no-no simply for being illegal, but then you have the cocaine thing with Jones, so I don't get it either.

Regardless, the UFC better start cleaning up their act. Shit's getting embarrassing.

    • Silva on roids really surprised me.

Jones should've been fined and Diaz getting in trouble for some smoke is crazy.

I've never agreed with you more on these legacy, Se7en. Good stuff, kid. I''m strictly joints, in my younger days it was buckets and bongs but now I just wanna lounge with a doobie, bongzilla still gets hit on special occasions though.

Fair enough, his brother has been caught with it too? Why don't they just get rid of them if they don't want it in their company? Not like they are big stars or anything.

It's just incredibly strange that weed is a complete no-no but cocaine isn't a banned substance when out of competition, sort it out Dana.

Yeah it is pretty embarrassing but most sports have this problem do they not? They wouldn't be the first anyway.

        • 14 seconds? Rousey could go on to be the most dominant champion in the UFC, don't see anyone beating her. Unless they get their finger out and get Cyborg on the roster.

          • Ronda's what 135 and last time i heard, cyborg is still around 175 ..i can't see Cyborg dropping that much weight to just fight her...

but then again the options for ronda are very limited as she has destroyed everyone in the ufc under a minute (except for her first fight which last over a minute)...

Your probably right, Ronda would punish a 135 Cyborg it wouldn't be a fair fight at all. She fights at 145 though, could Ronda possibly step up a weight or two? Who else is there left to beat at her weight currently.

              • I agree 100%. A 135 pound Cyborg is not Cyborg.

Ronda should just man up and take the fight. There would be no belt on the line, so she'd really have nothing to lose. Just a fat paycheck to gain, win or lose.

                • No way that Dana is going to let Cyborg fight his current cash crop...

Kind of how he never let Gina fight Cyborg...protecting his or their ass before he would let a "mega" fight happen...

Say what, homie? Well, first of all, that Gina/Cyborg fight did eventually happen and yes, it was Gina's last fight. But Dana didn't even run Strikeforce/EliteXC whatchamacallit that ran the fight NOR DID HE RUN FEMALE FIGHTS AT ALL until three and a half years later; in fact, not only was that flight by night organization absorbed by the UFC but Gina was also off to Hollyweird and both occurred long before Dana even caved and started sanctioning female fighting in the UFC.

                    Carano/Cyborg=August 15, 2009.
                    Strikeforce purchased by Zuffa=March 12, 2011.
First women's match and Rousey bout in the UFC=February 23, 2013.

Finally, Cyborg has been popped enough times for steroids that she might as well be categorized as a dude (AKA "Lady Thyroid") and that's also the major sticking point to her ending up in the UFC; inability to get over on their drug testing. Not Dana protecting his cashcow although that is a fair point; a butch lady that is a notorious steroid cheater would be a much worse draw than Ronda. But there are no levels of Mayweather/Pacquiao ducking going on here.
