  • Before this thread was made I had been posting my predictions in the NFL discussion thread. I'm not taking anything personal, I'm curious as to why I'm not listed. I was simply mentioning I've been on this board longer than every member you have listed.

You missed a decent second half ... the Bengals were down 13-10 heading into the lock rooms. But not even 5 minutes into the third quarter Leon Hall intercepted Foles' long ball which started a string of turnovers for Cincinnati. We then murdered them 31-13. haha 24 (unanswered) points in three and a half minutes.

          • I would so be number one if I were actually on that list.

            Falcons at Lions - Falcons
            Raiders at Panthers - Panthers
            Bills at Dolphins - Dolphins
            Bengals at Steelers - Bengals*
            Patriots at Jaguars - Patriots
Colts at Chiefs - (sadly) Colts
            Saints at Cowboys - Cowboys
            Redskins at Eagles - Redskins
            Rams at Buccaneers - Buccaneers
            Chargers at Jets - Chargers
            Titans at Packers - Packers
            Vikings at Texans - Texans
            Browns at Broncos - Broncos
            Bears at Cardinals - Bears
            Giants at Ravens - Giants
            49ers at Seahawks - 49ers

            Side notes:
            • Lions could possibly upset Atlanta if they decide to show up and play.
            • I'm nervous about our game against the Steelers. It's not our D I'm worried about, it's our offensive not being able to make plays and play consistently, and our offensive line that gave up 6 sacks last Thursday.
            • I'm preying the Chiefs will beat the Colts, but I just don't see that happening.
            • Cowboys are on a hot streak right now. Even though the Saints are up and down, they're always a contender, but who needs it more?
            • Can the Texans' D keep Peterson from running all over them? I think so... they can actually tackle.
            • With the way the Bears are playing, I wouldn't be surprised if they got beat by Arizona.
            • Giants flip-flop so much, so it's very hard to predict what they'll do the next week, but they always play well under pressure, and Baltimore's not playing their best, so a possible upset alert.
            • 49ers are real hot right now, with or without Smith. But Seattle's been playing damn good football... so this should be an interesting game, but I think the Niners defense is too good.

I can only see this happening if Peterson has a breakout game.

If Minnesota had consistent WR's they'd be a damn good football team.

And that's WITH one of the most dominant running backs of all-time having arguably his most dominant season to this point. IE: Teams almost exclusively play the run against them, opening up passing lanes down the field, and he's still posting a measly 5.95 per completion with a QB rating under 80. The guy is Suckchize-esque.
Sanchez started off good...but his career has taken a turn for the worst. On the other hand, Ponder has the potential to be a good QB, unlike Sanchez.

Give the guy some time, and good WR's.

that's what i'm banking on. i think peterson is a one-man wrecking crew at the moment. and i justhave a feeling the texans are gonna let down after winning the division.

Pittsburgh is always favored over us...nothing would make me happier than to prove everyone wrong, but with the way our offensive line is playing I can't see Dalton being able to get into a groove.

                                We'll see come Sunday.
