Story Trailer for ‘RoboCop: Rogue City’ Drops Plenty of Film References for Fans [Watch]

After binge-watching (come on, you know you did) the excellent SCREAMBOX Original series RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop, you’re probably eager to get going in Teyon’s RoboCop: Rogue City. And if you’re still not up on what’s going on, Teyon has released a new story trailer to get you up to speed on RoboCop: Rogue City. In addition, more footage of Rogue City in action was revealed during the recent Xbox Showcase.

The story for Rogue City takes place between RoboCop 2 and RoboCop 3, and sees RoboCop (played once again by Peter Weller) caught up in the gang violence in Old Detroit. Making matters worse is that the gangs have decided to throw in with the “new guy in town”. Previously unknown to the police, this new figure is behind a rash of disappearances, a variety of brazen crimes of all kinds and the trafficking of Nuke.

Complicating RoboCop’s mission is the mega-corporation Omni Consumer Products (OCP), which is tracking his actions and analyzing how he performs in his missions to ensure that he remain glitch-free… or the better to control him. Apparently, OCP is planning on replacing the Detroit Police Department with a more compliant robot army…

RoboCop: Rogue City is currently slated for release for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store on November 2nd.
