I just came across the single yesterday and I'm actually really excited to hear that they're trying to make it sound a bit more like their older stuff (which in my opinion is still their best stuff). I hope he isn't slipping. He's probably my favorite lyricist.
The acoustic stuff he did on his Kevin Seconds split is pretty good. All acoustic.
