Piranha 3DD: The Sequel
 

Its Official There is Going to be a Piranha 3D Part 2.
Filming will Begin at the end of May :).
and the plot is Piranhas will getting into swimming pool, pipes, plumbing etc.
and getting into a water park creating more havoc.
more blood and gore in 3D.
Hell Yea!

Sounds good, and Aja seems to be ready to be there to do it.

I'd hope it's not basically the same story but bigger. I'd rather some kind of logical progression of the story as they study and/or try to wipe them out.

Maybe find something even nastier than the paranhas deeper in the cave or something.

And yeah, crossbreed with some flying fish again...

The cool thing about the piranha story is there are no real limitations on what can be done....as proven by the original sequel. Peoples expectations would be cheese, boobs, mayhem and mass destruction. So it'd be pretty hard to completely fuck it up.
I'd say they'd probly look at the genetic mutation side of things for the military or terrorists. A common plot, but one they could have a lot of creative fun with as far as the fish go.

I was thinking early today it would be cool if they got into a flooded town somehow. Broken dam or rising flood waters maybe.

Gives you an idea of the layout, but they could certainly fictionalize the area to suit the story.

Force a few events and you could even flood Las Vegas, that'd be pretty wild and extra cheesy

Flying piranha's (1981, The Spawning) would look phenomenal in 3-D. The gimmick suits the horror genre better than any other (perhaps bar/with animation), and having something literally jump out at you, in this case a Piranha, would make a great (albeit cheap) scare. I'm all for a sequel.

I think they could have the regular piranhas that over took in the new Remake, and then have the flying Mother and Father piranhas. They could have it take place maybe a few weeks later in a diffrent area, with Elisabeth Shue and others trying to kill the piranhas.

I personally think it's a little too soon to be talking about a sequal for it,just for the soul reason I don't want them to rush it, but I would be game for some more piranha goodness!
