Yesterday I finished "Abandon the Old in Tokyo" by Yoshihiro Tatsumi and published by Drawn and Quarterly. It's a terrific collection of slice-of-life manga short stories from the 70s.
Depressing, violent, shocking, scary, poignant - really great stuff. I can't wait for the next volume of this series. If all you've seen of manga is big eyes, speed lines and that stuff, this will change your whole perspective on that work. Sam |

yeah I read about that and the new Xforce and what not...
Im not really looking foward to the xmen break up in the wya they are going about it... Im just sick of all these events...reguardless of who and how many times they ahve occured....I gues sits teh hate that i have a team where i dont care for a majority of the new xforce.....x23 was great in her own little book they threw out that there a few months ago.... If peter parker turns out ot be one of the skrulls and thats how they explain his unmasking...then ....yeah..i dont know....
