Anybody been reading Before Watchmen?

I've been enjoying the series WAY more than I had expected to...

as have i, primarily the rorshach, silk spectre and dr. manhatten ones. i did absolutely LOVE the conversation between jackie o and eddie blake in the comedian #1. i'm sure it's really pissing alan moore off, but dc deserves props for telling some compelling watchmenverse stories.

Some are better than others, but generally I'm liking them. I think I like Minutemen best, telling the story behind the original Nite Owl.

Yeah I was worried at first, but I'm finding it excellently entertaining and pretty enlightening.

Dr. Manhattan and Rorschach have been my favorite volumes so far.

I guess I'll get them from Amazon although buyers have commented that they arrived somewhat damaged... I almost bought some bookcases from that Borders but didn't and have been kicking myself ever since....
