Kiss Kiss Bang Bang - I must have confused this with some other movie long ago, 'cause for years I thought it would be awful. Now I see how wrong I was. What an awesome flick. - 9/10

Been watching some of the features on the Universal Horror Classic's set. It's breathtaking the amount of care and love that Universal put into the transfers of these. Seeing how much time and care they put into it is so great. And that goes for in general too. But it's rather heart warming seeing that they actually hold these old films that put them on the map in such high regard still. Near without challenge though they are some of the finest made and acted films ever to grace the screen, so it's fitting they treat them like it.

Safety Not Guaranteed - A really, really charming little movie. It's cute, idealistic and romantic and most importantly it's funny. Aubrey Plaza absolutely commands the film and that sort of deadpan humor works perfectly. Although, even though she's very much the showcase here, that doesn't mean the supporting cast don't make the most of every single bit of screentime. If you hadn't seen him in anything else, you might actually believe Mark Duplass is his character. This one's a real treat and probably one of my favorite romantic comedies of the year along with Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, which interestingly enough parallels and at times is the polar opposite of this movie in alot of ways and both share an element of science-fiction. No faults here, I've heard some complaints about the ending which if you've seen it, takes an interesting direction, but I personally loved it.

10/10

The Amazing Spiderman 10/10

Wow, this totally just erased every single film Raimi did.

This version got every single aspect correctly. I'm so glad they rebooted this...

I don't like any of the Raimi Spider-Man films anymore. I liked the first and second one when I originally saw them but I've grown to dislike them.

Spider-Man needed a reboot. Now let's get that Fantastic 4 reboot going!
