The thing that get's me, is out of that 5 game winning streak, only one of those wins was against an elite team. Even if the Lakers don't win many games against the elite teams, they still have to win games against the lesser teams in order to be in possition to make the playoffs. Unfortunately, i see the Lakers struggling to win on a consistant basis against those lesser teams, and that's going to be a problem.

The Lakers need to get their shit together, because being 11th in the West just isn't going to cut it come playoff time. They need to start playing up to their potential.

The Lakers are better than this, and they're letting their fanbase down tremendously. I mean, how long is it gonna be before they beg Phil Jackson to come back and save this team from doom?

We ain't making the finals that's for sure. We might make the WCF if we really focus.

January's going to be brutal. You've got upcoming games against Portland, The Clippers, Denver, Houston, San Antonio, 2 against OKC, the Heat, Bulls and Grizzlies.

Out of all of those, your best chance of winning any of those would be Portland, Denver and maybe Houston, but those other games are just back breakers for the Lakers.

Lakers will have to step things up.

Dwyane Wade suspended for swing kicking Ramon Sessions in the nutsack.

I think it's great to see that the Heat are now 20-6 (best start in franchise history) and are in firm control of first place in the East.

January looks to be an easy month for the Heat as the only teams that can pose any type of real competition in that month are Chicago, Dallas, and maybe Boston. Other than that it looks to be a piece of cake for the Heat in the month of January.

I think it's great to see that the Heat are now 20-6 (best start in franchise history) and are in firm control of first place in the East.

It might be possible for them to finish the season with the best record in the league. As of now, the only teams I can see beating Miami are OKC, Clippers, and possibly the Bulls. Sure NY has beaten them already, but when our next game rolls around, I don't see it happening again.

If the Nets grab Phil Jackson before the Lakers can fire D'antoni, then the Lakers will be in even more hot water, as i think Phil is the only one who can turn things around for L.A. this year.

They won't be as affective, but it won't hurt 'em that much.

Honestly, I think Jackson would be a perfect fit for Brooklyn. He seemed to enjoy his years in NY and NJ, so I personally can't see him denying the oppertunity.
