Same here, I'll go to opening day because I know I'm going to get a great film out of him. QT and Aronofsky are my opening day musts.

Apparently, the blood on Dicaprio's hand is real. He accidentally gashed his hand on something on the table, when he punched it, and they just kept rolling

Not sure how legit that is, but if so, very cool.
That's awesome.
Spoiler Below
So into his role and the scene that he just used it and kept on rolling....badass.

I need to go see this again.

I loved how intense the whole "Ben discussion" scene was, DiCaprio was just so menacing! If hurting his hand was truly unintentional then major props go out to Leo as an actor because it sure seemed like it was in the script and he didn't miss a beat, he must've been in the zone big time...

If he doesn't win something for his role as Calvin Candie I'd be very surprised...

The ending did seem to go on like Tarantino wasn't exactly sure how to end it but once Django arrived at Candyland and finished his vengeance, I was totally satisfied....

It ranks up there with my other two favorite Tarantino scenes:

Clifford Worley's history lesson to Vincenzo Coccotti in True Romance as well as the bar scene in Inglourious Basterds...

Two of my favorite scenes as well. And, the scene with Jules and Ringo at the end of Pulp Fiction.

Agreed but there are tons of great scenes in Pulp Fiction, "The Bonnie Situation" always cracks me up!

I really want to go see this again, because I had such a blast with it the first time. I think the more I think about it, the more I like it. It's long, but never felt it's length to me. It's just perfect Tarantino.

I'm dying to see this and itt doesn't open up over her for another few weeks. Glad to see that most of the review are positive although the anticipation is killing me.

I'm seriously going to be pissed if he doesn't get an Oscar nom for this.

Damn near perfect film. I haven't seen a movie in years that has made me want to go see it numerous times at the theater.

I'm right there with you. I need to try and see it again this week.

That's beat, they should just open films everywhere at the same time. Anyway, you're going to enjoy it, it's classic Tarantino with the humor and violence level upped even more.

True, Fincher as well, with the exception of Benjamin Button, which took me a few viewings at home just to get through.

True and I suppose I'd add PT Anderson to that illustrious list.

There are a number of current big name Hollywood filmmakers I'll follow and count on each time (Nolan, Del Toro, Coen, Fincher) to name a few more, but QT is at the top and has been for years. For nearly twenty years he like no other has had the largest influence on my tastes. If there was a fanclub, I'd unappologetically be on the board of governors. (Not sure what that means)
