I watched this two days ago and was extremely disturbed, because I was under the impression that it was based on a specific case, with specific people and actual evidence of what happened. Spoiler Below

The pictures really caught me off guard and at first I thought Megan was decapitated. Once I found out it wasn't really based on a specific event I was relieved/disappointed.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie and it confirmed my opinion that having children is a very bad idea for me.

This movie in my opinion was FANTASTIC.
It felt so eerily real, and for some reason felt I knew the girls on a personal level.
It just goes to show this can happen to ANYONE and to be catious of who you meet online, totally creepy.

I had a hard time watching the end, I will admit I freaked a little bit.

There are definitely some sick fools out there.

The movie was pretty awesome and definitely one of my favorites of the year.

I really enjoy this kind of abduction/psychological torture film. Mostly because it's "realistic". Anyone have recommendations for similar films?

No sense creating a new thread for a movie I hated.

Someone on another forum board "dared" me to watch this in a thread I'd made about A Serbian Film (which I also hate). I took the challenge like a sucker, and I'm still regretting it.

I felt gutted after watching this. Absolutely gutted. This movie was an emotional chore from start to finish and I hated it. Call me a pussy all you want, but I'm a sensitive guy so I guess I'm just not cut out for movies like this. That is to say, emotionally draining films.

may contain spoilers. a movie about two teenage girls who get involved in online dating. One of them gets abducted and tortured by a sexually sadistic predator i wont say any more. Stories like this always make me angry. It makes you think "What if this happened to my sister or my daughter, cousin, niece etc.?" I don't know if I could stomach graphic depictions of what these predators do to these girls but maybe a movie like this can open people's eyes to the real horrors of the world.overall i thought this was a good movie.

I laughed at some pretty inappropriate parts of this film.

All around, not a bad flick. I found some of the parts to be not so plausible, but I kept an open mind. I would recommend a watch for anyone interested.
