No, everything you need comes with the headset. You just plug it into the Xbox/PS3 & TV and you're all good.

EDIT: You get a receiver with the wireless headsets, but I don't recommend that if you have a bunch of other things that are are wireless in the vicinity of the receiver.

I'm not sure about an external DVD or Blu Ray (Unless it has a USB and your TV has a headphone jack) but if you're watching anything on the console It works fine.

I'm mad at myself for not pre-ordering Sleeping Dogs back last year. Game was a blast to play through from start to finish. Enjoyed it a lot more than I thought I would and imo its way better than GTA IV. Just about done with it and all that's left are some theft jobs, races, cockfighting/gambling and the gold/silver stats then that's my 1000 G.

With Sly Cooper : Thieves In Time coming out this week, I've been replaying the first three games. Still enjoyed the hell out of them like I did when they first came out, I'm also getting a little bit more out of it due to the conversations I had with Dev Madan (Creative/Art Director) last summer. (Murray originally going to be the "Big Gay Al" of the bunch, and Dimitri's dialogue was created by Dev being drunk off his ass late at night and laughing at whatever he could put down.)

Speak of SC: TiT, it's good hearing that Sanzuru did a really nice job with it. Especially considering many of Sony's platformers hasn't done too well when a different developer made them. (Crash Bandicoot, Spyro etc.)

It's also been a little tricky avoiding spoilers, especially since the ending has been posted on some sites. All I can say is this...Spoiler below, nothing blantant, but I think you guys can pick up what the spoiler is refering to.

I really hope this does sell well so either Sanzuru or Sucker Punch can make the next one.

What kind of game is it? Is it a single player platformer, or more of a multiplayer clusterfuck?

It hasn't been advertised as an epic adventure as I expected.

It's a single player platformer as the series has usually been, from everything I've seen and read, Sanzuru made this a Sly Cooper game, and it doesn't stray from what it is. The main gist I'm getting is if you liked the previous three games, you're going to like this one.

Just like the 2nd and 3rd games, Sly and the gang are doing various missions/heists in a big world, with the addition of the ancestors once you save/meet them.

The story also looks to have it's fair share of twists and turns, and I'll know the whole gist once I pick it up this week.
