Trent Reznor has always been one of my favourite musicians. I've been listening to 'The Fragile' a helluva a lot lately.

BJ, if you can get a hold of them, both 'And All That Could Have Been' and 'Beside You in Time' are great live DVDs.

some of the best live shows i've seen, saw them/him twice in 94 and 95, memphis and murfreesboro.

i'm really sad that i missed trent and bauhaus touring together many moons ago, as well as trent and bowie. of shows that i passed up due to finances, hecticness of life, and distance to be traveled, those are the two that i regret the most...

This is great news! I read an article a year or so ago where he said he would be writing new NIN material but after that he started doing more with How Too Destroy Angels so I thought he changed his mind. I saw NIN back in 07 and it was a great show and full of energy. He gave no sign that he was getting tired of what he was doing. I just hope the comeback is worth it since the latter part of the NIn discography wasnt so great.

NOTE FROM TRENT:

Nine Inch Nails are touring this year.

I was working with Adrian Belew on some musical ideas, which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show. Calls were made to some friends, lots of new ideas were discussed, and a show was booked - which led to another, which somehow led to a lot of shows.

The band is reinventing itself from scratch and will be comprised of Eric Avery, Adrian Belew, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Ilan Rubin, and me. The first shows will begin this summer, followed by a full-on arena tour of the US this fall, and lots of other dates worldwide to follow through 2014.

Lots of details and dates to come. See you soon.
