Really? I didn't see the fights last night, but don't forget that this is the second time in a year, that he has literally fought for his #1 contendership. He's the guy who Chael leapfrogged over, because he wouldn't fight Jones on a week's notice.

We'll see what happens with Gustavson, but if Machida doesn't deserve a title shot, nobody does.

I loved Ronda Rousey's match, Liz tried to make something happen but I feel Rousey is untouchable at this point in her career.

I do love how people complain about her arm bar wins. I mean if it aint broke don't fix it. It's like complaining that someone KO's their opponents too much(retarded)

Congrats go out to Urijah Faber and Robbie Lawler on their wins as well, all in all a pretty great pay per view ( minus that shitty Lyoto Machida fight)

UFC 157 is a good indicator of why some people are so resistant to MMA.

Honestly, boring as fuck. I would have been PISSED had I actually paid for that. The Henderson fight was laughable, had he not come forward there would have been legitimately zero punches thrown. I get that Machida is a counter-puncher but goddamn, that's ALL he does.

The main bout was some chick just steam-rolling another and attempting to do the same submission, over and over, again. Anytime shit like that can happen in a championship match means the division is severely underdeveloped and more importantly not worthy of being the main event.

You're confusing hate, with the fact that WMMA is still very thin in terms of talent.

If Rousey loses that fight, guess what, no more WMMA in the UFC. Dana has even said this himself.

Dana White is not eating his words. He's just smart enough to see the star power that Ronda brings to the table. Once she gets beat, who else do they have? The person that beat her? She better be just as hot and marketable as Ronda.

It's the Ronda show. That's it. There's nothing wrong with it, but it is what it is.

The main event was very reminiscent of Hughes/Trigg. The only reason people are talking like this is because they are women.
