i really dig this idea.

i'd like to see evil dead 4, friday the 13th part 2, another romero dead film, a sequel to the remake of mighty joe young, bubba nosferatu, and another film with the devil's reject, could be a sequel, prequel or somewhere in between.

but most of all, i want to see phantasm V, and i want to see it soon, while angus scrimm is still with us. those characters--mike, reggie, and jody--are among my favorite cinematic trios, and they need to face off against the tall man one last time.

This has been on and off for the last few years. I'd like a sequel to The Strangers. The first one gets a lot of hate but I liked it.

Yeah, one of the very few that haven't been touched. I'm surprised as well. Maybe one of those films where the rights are a mess.

This is from imdb although a little old;

Bob Weinstein and Harvey Weinstein have expressed interest in remaking the first film they ever produced or worked on, "The Burning". After the huge success of their recent slasher-remake, "Halloween" they have become more intrigued with the idea.

I'd like a Cropsey franchise but I'm doubtful of it happening. Would be cool though as I imagine the Weinstein's would make it grindhouse-esque rather than a glossy platinum dunes remake.
