Just finished watching this for the first time. Excellent, very impressed, really enjoyed it. There are some cool gore scenes, and some really crazy black humor mixed through out. Also, this film is really violent on several different levels. It's not extreme or excessive for the sake of being just that. Although, I wouldn't watch it with your g/f if she's not used to this type of violence. The film is paced really well so you don't get bored. It's 2 1/2 hrs, and, it really didn't drag for me. Good stuff !

POUR SOME SOY-SAUCE ON IT !!!

Decent flick though a bit of a letdown given all the hype it got. The movie felt way too long and dragged in many parts. The gore was next to non-existent however the ending kinda paid off for what was really a mediocre movie for the most part.
I'd give it a 6/10

Great film...Just thought they portrayed Mr. Murata, and his wife a bit too cuckoo. If they were played to be more serious could have been a bit better IMO.

8/10

PS - Mr.Syamoto's wife has great tits

Really wacky and messed up movie. A bit too long and uneven to be called great but definitely a good watch.

I think that was the intention from the outset, present characters in that way, mixing genres with bizarre situations. Would it have worked better without the black comedy element embedded? It is a question impossible to answer.

Well if that was the intent, I don't think it worked extremely well here. I've seen more bizarre and jarring movies that were better.... but I did like this quite a bit.
