Solid movie, I liked the contrast between the 'slow' camera work & the low audio versus the (psychological) roughness. Pretty intense to see the little boy alone in the cab and to realize what he was going through. Good choice to experience everything from his point of view, no time wasted on other storylines.

The acting is fine (you dont see that often with child actors) and a great character played by D'Onofrio. The ending was good in my view, despite the fact there are some plot holes (which comes along with the single focus from the boy) I think it all makes sense in the end.

btw I liked Surveillance too, Lynch is not into the nightmarish/mindfuck-thing like her father but both movies got my full attention from beginning to end.

I really liked "Surveillance" too, which of course at this point is a movie almost forgotten, and I think unfairly.. .although one can find certain "errors" or "predictability" is sufficiently compensated for its "flaws" remain hidden behind the feeling of having enjoyed an interesting and macabre thriller that it can claim to be well above the normal average.

Also I really liked that some unhealthy air, which grows as the story progresses.

Man I loved Surveillance and I've had this on my computer for a long time. I may finally watch it tonight.

This was pretty decent. Not a "fun" or "enjoyable" film at all, but dark and disturbing.
