Watching Bastards today, and hopefully see Unchained soon.

He is with ease one of my top 5 directors.
After viewing IB and Death Proof again I'm changing the order.

Kill Bill The Whole Bloody Affair
Death Proof
Pulp Fiction
Reservoir Dogs
Jackie Brown
Inglorious Bastards

I see.

Well I think you need to give it another go. I agree there is a stretch where it drags, but once the bar scene comes around it picks right back up again. Plus, the acting is excellent and the climax is brilliant.

If you didn't like this then I doubt you'll like Django.

I'll be watching it again, and maybe. And yes the acting is great, but that doesn't give it auto pass.

I never said it did. Well you didn't like Pulp Fiction or Jackie Brown the first time you watched them so you'll probably like it more the second time around.

Drags? Hell I had a blast with IB from beginning to end. Honestly I would have to say the very beginning is my favorite part of the movie and to avoid spoilers to those who haven't seen it the Rat/Mouse speech cracks me up every time I hear it.

I don't know, I think Django is 10x more exciting than IB. I can somewhat understand being bored on first viewing of IB, but I can't see that at all with Django.
