No, it isn't. They started work on the sequel before the first came out which is why V/H/S/2 got released so quickly. I think the first film came out in July/August of 2012 and they had, at the time, S-VHS premiere in September.

No plans for a third yet, unless I'm mistaken.

Let's say there is a third one, who do we want directing these things?

I'd largely keep the same people directing. Stick with what works, right?

I liked the cult segment and the slumber party one. Part of me was really hoping that "I like you" girl would make an appearance again, though.

That's such a memorable part of the first movie.

Lily from "Amateur Night". By far the best segment of the first movie. "Slumber Party Alien Abduction" was the best from the second movie. They will do a third movie and I can't wait.

My favorite scene of VHS 2 was Adam Wingard with the camera in his eye.

I really did feel bored, maybe because the mash up of ideas caused too many jump around like moments of forgetting. There were some good ideas, I thought Go pro Zombie was new, but still the same old gobbly goop. It's a real brain-fuc of smashed ideas, that sort of give one a glitching type headache no different than the vhs messy tape reel. It's a bit hip, so these roads are administered in what I have been calling movies these days. " Slam Bam " Roller coaster rides of story less inventions. It's very modern and surreal. I didn't mind the beginning, but it left to go elsewhere and further down the rabbit hole. It's was something like a commercial. I'll give them credit for some of the gore scenes, weren't that bad, especially that ending one. I haven't actually seen the first movie. I saw this one up on what to watch and decided to finally give it a go, figured it can't be any different than what I heard about the first. I'm alright, just not my style.

There was a lot of crazy Tv influenced monster movies back in the day, I'm trying to remember one that was with Elvira or maybe it was an Elvira clone to make it seem like it was her for the movie. A monster that comes out of the T.V and befriends the kid and eats people. I think I should watch that again to wash this one away.

Terror Vision That's it!
