Yeah, it's been passed around Hollywood for ages. At one point James Franco was in talks with Scott Rudin to make it and people got all pissed off .

I imagine it being a western and insanely violent are the main issues blocking it. In the right hands though I think it's adaptable, the Judge is very theatrical.

Yeah I've heard about that too, haven't read it myself but it sounds decent enough, I'm not keen on books but it's something I've always wanted to get into.

I'd like to own this as I'm not too knowledgeable in the genre and would like to see the best movies it has to offer. The Dollars trilogy kicks major ass though.

There's a Western coming out soon called The Salvation starring Mads Mikkelsen and Eva Green.



Apparently it's an incredibly violent revenge tale with a nasty opening. Reviews for it are decent although nothing special.
