Default Sennentuntschi: Curse of the Alps (2010)

Quote:
An Alpine legend tells the story of three lonely herdsmen who were so starved of female companionship they built the girl of their dreams from a broom, some straw and a few rags. Then the Devil took pity and made Sennentuntschi live and breathe… This fable informs the first ever shocker from Switzerland, a complex and twisted tale of past crimes, tragic love, ghostly encounters, horrendous murder, unexplained suicide and sexual enslavement. Continually surprising, brilliantly directed and superbly acted, this unusual and beguiling mystery chiller finally puts Switzerland on the genre map.

I found this little Swiss treasure today at my local Vintage Stock. It was for pre-sale in the back of the "Previews Guide" from Diamond Distributions. I should have it in a month.

I can't wait to get it. Fuck I love Nordic Horror..

This looks pretty damn cool. Might have to keep an eye on this one.

No, from what I seen from my friend who works for Vintage who ordered it from his distributor for me... the release date isnt until 10/25 I believe. I was just excited to see it in the catalog so I had them order it. It does look very interesting.

I love horror films based off fables, fairy tales or mythology, so this should be a great film for me..
