I have the epilogue remaining. Devoured the shit outta this book. Likely finish this then start on Salinger books I picked up recently. |

The Great Perhaps by Joe Meno
You all should know by now my disdain for modern literature and it's elementary grasp at obtaining moderately thoughtful and intelligent work. However, if there was ever a modern author that I could hold in as high esteem as my favorite classic writers it would be Joe Meno. His deep understanding of human emotions and his poetic styling has enabled him to capture the happiness we strive for and the crushing hopelessness our endeavors leave us holding. A fruitless fist clenched in despair. Yet still we manage to find hope an beauty in the most unassuming things. "The Great Detective Fails" is my second all time favorite book but I have a deep appreciation for every work of fiction I have read of his. Other great suggestions that you should find a copy of are "How the Hula Girl Sings" and "Tender as Hellfire".

Bite by Richard Laymon. Really enjoyed this! It wan't a strait horror novel, but more of a survival story with some vampire elements thrown in.

My Booky Wook by Russell Brand
When you think Russell Brand the image probably brings you a sort of celebrity nuisance like the British Tom Green on crack. The last thing you would think him to be is a good writer but somehow he accomplished it. He isn't brilliant or anything, no Charles Bukowki by any means but he does provide a good source of entertainment.

Rape Me-Virginie Despentes
Now to order the movie and give it a whirl. But all around pretty good book for a good sit down for a few hours to read but not as shocking as I thought it would be. |

Words cannot express how much I love your avatar. I wish I still knew where my Trinity movies were. The comedic emphasis in each of them is so effortless it really takes a special person to appreciate them.
