This past Wednesday I picked up:

New Avengers #1
Brightest Day #4
DC Legacies #2
Nemesis #2

New Avengers I lied, but I felt it could have been better. I don't feelt he team or the threat was as well defined as in Avengers' or Secret Avengers' debut issue.

Brightest Day was good, after a really bad issue #2, the momentum is back.

I'm surprised by how much I am liking DCU Legacies. Really enjoyable.

Nemesis...I'm on the fence about honestly. It just feels like your basic Millar story to me, and by that I mean a stock story. Nothing that really makes it stand out. Not even the evil Batman concept. I mean honestly the origin of Nemesis is startlingly close to the Batman villain Wrath. Right now it just feels so "been there, done that."

I'm still sticking to my guns and not getting "Brightest Day". Got issue 1. it's been hard, but going to wait for the trade. Glad people are enjoying it

im not a big comic guy, but a couple years ago I bought Shaun of the Dead comic books, which led me to try out other stuff. I have since read both series of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash and am currently halfway through the Walking Dead. Although i still dont like superheroes or anything like that, i have a new love for horror comics.

I torrented the Walking Dead 1-68 and I cant stop reading them. everytime I say "one more issue, then im going to bed" theres always an insane cliff hanger that makes me continue reading. i love it.

theres alot of horror comics out there an a good amount based off movies to such as Friday The 13th,Leatherface,Halloween,Lepercahun,Vincent Price,Dr Giggles etc sure you would like them haha

I just got Chaos:Halloween 2 & 3 really like how Beck drew Myers looks really good looking!

TCM,13th, and Freddy were really good when Avatar published them. They had Pulido writing them. Since Wildstorm got ahold of them. It's just not the same having Super-Hero writers writing them.

Halloween was alot when Chaos published them. Not so good now since DDP has got the rights.

Yea I hear what you mean, I still get them from Wildstorm when I can seeing i'm a huge TCM fan but a writer who just writes horror would be a better fit for sure.

I like the last Halloween series to come out cause Jeff Zornow art is amazing haha, I think be better just to have one published with all the horror movie comics together an have a team that is 100% horror working on them.

I like what BOOM is doing with the 28days later series the guys on the comics actually work along side with the guys from the movies to get a right feel an setting for the comic, so thats a big plus for me
