Anyone going to Guitar Center for The List sale on Memorial Day? I went to the Labor day sale a few years ago and got some cheap stuff there. I'm going to check it out this year for an acoustic guitar.

Thought I'd try to revive this thread. Maybe everyone could post pics of their "rigs."
Here's mine.

in rig-rebuild mode, as I have literally nothing at the moment.
anyways, I was trying to think of a guitar that would be different, inspiring. and I decided I'm going to get a 7-string. a Schecter C-7 to be exact. after that, I'm aiming at a Mesa Dual Recto and matching cab. I know, nothing too unique or interesting there. but active pickups and a Mesa Recto get results. |

I currently have a Line 6 Spider 3 150 watt amp, a squire stratocaster which I butcherd a bit to put a humbucker in and a Dime Cry Baby From Hell Wah Pedal. I want to get a new guitar but I can't decide if I want to go the way of Jackson or maybe a nice Dean, maybe a Dime model. The big turnoff for me with Jackson is that they have been owned or atleast controlled by Fender now for a few years and when I think about heavy metal guitars I don't think "Fender" at all. The only reason I have the Squire Strat is that I needed a guitar at the time and it was within my budget. I dunno maybe a Jackson Rhoads V or a Soloist will set me right.
