Budget-I'd be willing to spend around $400-$800 on the guitar itself.

Well the style and what stuff you will be playing is basically the same question I guess.

Well if you were to make song what bands would it probably sound like? And if you were to learn any bands songs who would it be?

If I made a song, I'd like it to sound like The Velvet Underground and Flux of Pink Indians type sound. And songs I'd like to learn songs by My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus and Mary Chain and Joy Division.

Bah can't say I've heard any of those except Joy Division.

Also can you already play guitar or is this your first?

I cannot play correctly, so this is my first.

To be honest if you can't play correctly I'd just go with something really cheap for now. Start off on a Squier Strat or something and save the extra money for when you want to upgrade.

Alright. Wouldn't it cost more money if I keep upgrading opposed to buying a quality guitar from the start?

After a bit of looking around (Youtube ) personally if I was you I'd go with this. These semi hollow body guitars are the sort of guitar Jesus and Mary Chain use, The Smiths use and The Cure (Most the time anyway).

If you bought this you could always swap the humbuckers (The silver parts in the picture that pick up the sound) later and get Seymour Duncans put in it or something. It would be perfect if your beginning to play guitar yet still want to put a bit of money in to it.

That depends on how sure you are that you want to play guitar.

As of now, I'm very interested in playing and I'd invest a lot of my time learning how to play.
