i saw valentine on tv sunday night and boy what a crap storyline honestly without spoiling the movie for anyone there was nothing interesting about the film except for 2 cool death scenes and that's it

I fuckin' hated this movie. It was terrible.

Made me hate David Boreanez. And I liked him previously in Angel.

the film however did have one good thing about ....
during the film all the male figures are arseholes and treat all the girls like shit
which makes me wonder is this a feminist/anti-sexist film in disguise

We'll have to ask director Jamie Blanks. His previous film Urban Legend is better than this.

David Boreanez walked the same way whether he had the mask on or not. It was a sort of slow bouncing strut, yet nobody ever put two and two together.

And how did he get the maggots in the chocolate without killing them?

I bought this as a blind buy years ago, and traded it in years ago.

I agree, I wasn't a huge Urban Legend fan, but it was much better.

VALENTINE although cheesy in some ways, was cool in others ie. face beating with hot iron. When you look back in the slasher library all of them are the same line up attractive teens to murder, but this was a tad different. it gave you the sense of who the killer was and then tricked you. It used all girl cast that although has been done before, these chicks were hot and there bratty ways gave the story some umph, like why should we care about these mean bitches getting there neck thrown on jagged glass? around this time in movies it was about the 3rd scream, 2nd i know what you did last summer, 3straight to video urban legend, so at the time considering one of the more remerable horror movies lately, besides rejects, saws, there really havent been rememberable horror movies, not to say valentine is up there but for what it is its an ok flick to watch
