It delivered everything it intended to. The amount of players wanted, literature drafted, actual participation and it never fell apart. Aside from that, the idea wasn't lame like the wrestler's draft (), and was actually supported.

Did anyone find the Database useful? If so, I have no issues creating one per draft, if I am in them or not.

The database was particularly useful. The first few rounds I was on top of the situation, but the last few rounds I found myself double-checking the draft board to see what had and had not been chosen. The alphabetical database made the process much simpler.

I said so at the time, but great job Morbid.

Very useful. Saviour of a few picks. Anyways, it would be extremely helpful this year with the Artist Draft(It's the third one already? I can hardly believe it).

As for signing up, these will be the rules again unless there are some suggestions (lazy, copy and paste job) :

First, I want to do sign ups different than before. I was thinking of having everyone PM me to sign up instead of just opening a thread and it being a free for all. This will give me a better chance of deciding who should be able to play.

For now, anyone who has been a member for less than 6 months will not be admitted unless I decide otherwise. There are always exceptions! If we are low on participants, I will contact you, but you're going to have to get in touch with me first.

If I feel like you hardly contribute anything to the board or you were a shitty player in the last draft, you're probably not going to get in.

I'm limiting the sign ups to 32. The max I will go to is 36, but I may not even go that far.


These same rules will be in a effect when drafting time comes around:

- Names will be drawn at random to decide your placement in the draft. (1-36)
- Members begin picking films one at a time going in order of your number placement.
- Picks go up the list 1-36, and then back down the list 36-1. For example, if your placement number is 36 you get to pick two films in a row. If you are number 1, starting the second round you pick two films in a row also.
- Once a film is picked it cannot be picked again. No exceptions.
- Picking continues until all turns are done and everyone is left with a list of 10 films.
- You have 18 hours to pick your film. If you have not picked within 18 hours, penalties will apply. Remember these:

1. First Miss- You do not get to make your pick for the round you missed until the end of the Round 10 drafting. The order drafting will take place at the point will be in the order of missed turns. Your name will appear in orange after you miss your turn.

2. Second Miss- You are out of the draft. No exceptions. Your name will appear in red after you are removed. When a person is dropped, their picks are dead.

I have a month break between semesters(Dec.-Jan.), and I was thinking about starting the Artist Draft a little early while my time will be free. I'll keep everyone posted.

If you start the artist draft at that time, then there will be no all genre draft this year.
