The Doors, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Terry Reid, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Janis Joplin, Black Sabbath, Jefferson Airplane...etc. To name a few. There are so many to choose from...oh yeah...Pink Floyd too.
