Lots of attempts at creating an iconic modern slasher have been made but with Victor Crowley they succeeded completely.

Crowley is the baddass killer that Jason should be now. Adam Green completely understood the slasher genre. Most people think they just have a bunch of actors throw in some blood and they got an 80s style slasher. Adam Green knew exactly how to pace and cast his film. Hodder had Jason stolen from him and karma was a bitch cause Hatchet beats any of the newer Friday films.

Even with that said, I still think Crowley is proving to be more of a badass than Jason.

He'll never be as badass as Jason. He's badass, though. Of course it's all a matter of opinion and IMO Crowley will never be in the same league as Jason.

You can't seriously tell me Crowley hasn't surpassed Jason as far as being a badass goes. He's pulling off the kind of unique kills Jason hasn't been doing for years.

I'm sorry but I don't agree. I love Crowley but he'll never reach the same status Jason has. Doesn't matter if he has unique kills or not.

None of Victor's kills hold a candle to Jason's best kills.

Are you serious? Victor ripping Mrs. Parmateo's (sp>) head open easily topples ALL of those kills. In addition to him twisting a man's head off until it hung on by a thread of skin, & ripping both of a man's arms off simultaneously.

Crowley was badass & had great kills,but better than sleeping bag & the bed kill?

Different strokes for different folks,though.I'm not denying Crowley's awesomeness.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say Jason's weak or anything, I just think Victor has put on a far more impressive showing thus far. Honestly, though, my spot for my favorite slasher is tied between Jason & Michael, but I just think they're outclassed by Victor. He's displayed a nastiness that I haven't seen in any other horror character.

With him, it's absolutely no stalking. Once he sees you, you're dead, whether he has to use his hands or weapons to do so.

Plus, you can't tell me that the power sander to the face wasn't among the most original & unique kills in recent memory. Don't get me wrong, there's a lot of great kills out there, but I love that one, no doubt.

Besides, these two could definitely go head up in a fight to the death. In fact, I think I'd like to see that happen someday, be it in movie form or comic book form, but before it does happen, Crowley's gonna need to build up a bigger fanbase.
