Like I said...they saw people responding to the blood, tits and sex. They were trying to "step up their game" without going over board and seeming like a complete knockoff.

Yeah, I know why they did it. Didn't stop it from being the wrong direction for the series to go in. They were basically just cashing in on the Friday success which Halloween 1 helped start in the first place.

I just bought the Ulitmate Edition Box Set about 2 weeks ago, I really love it.

Sure did. And well worth it. They just need to stop putting the 3-D glasses in there, never work.

They work extremely well if you watch them on a laptop or something.

But they do work on a TV.

I prefer the theatrical version of Halloween 6 as well. It's just more interesting. The PC just made it more complicated than it already was.
