I own Crystal Lake to Manhattan box set as well and I love it. It's great to have so many films in one collection. I also have FVJ on DVD and the remake on Blu-ray. Only ones I lack are Goes to Hell and X, which I am in NO HURRY to buy. Would really love to have a 1-4 collection on Blu-ray, esp. 4 (my personal fav)

Anybody else got the new box set yet? I love the design for it, less bulky than the 2004 version, & more book-like. Plus, it made me rediscover my love of the franchise, & oddly enough, I kinda like JTM now. Lol

It looks like Paramount is re-releasing the Friday the 13th the Ultimate Collection box-set after all the complaints about the packaging.

I never got the box set. I like owning each individual DVD. I have every Friday the 13th on DVD, including the remake. I don't like box sets that much, I prefer having each movie in it's own case separately on the DVD shelf. That's just me though.

I like boxsets because they cut out the hassle of individually buying each DVD, imo.
