I could go on for hours why Ghosts Of Mars reeks, but I'll just state the obvious:
1-It didn't need to be told in flashback, especially since there is a flashback within a flashback in this film which is really laughable and cheesy
2-Natasha Henstridge should not have been in it. She was absolutely terrible and didn't fit the character at all, Ice Cube showed more potential than she did (yikes)
3-WHERE IS THE DAMN ENDING??????????? This piece of crap doesn't finish, it just stops cold. WTF??????????????? Where is the resolution?
I actually find this to be worse than Village Of The Damned because it managed to piss me off. File that one under 'Wasted Potential', John must not have liked it either because he went into exile after it came out.

1. Too bad you're so easily confused.
2. It's called casting against type and she did just fine.
3. Then you must not like very many Carpenter flicks, because that kind of open ending is typical for most of his best. But considering how easily confused you can get sometimes, your opinion is understandable.

No, actually it's comforting being amongst people who take it for what it is- just a fun little action/sci-fi flick instead of bitching & moaning because it isn't a fucking groundbreaking classic or that it's too confusing.

I thought it was fun. Essentially a remake of Assault on Precinct 13 which itself was a bit of a Rio Bravo knock-off
