Alright, I don't really want to derail the thread...but are you fucking retarded? Tarantino directed one fucking scene. The rest of the flick's all Rodriguez's...and even that scene fits in with the style he developed for the film. Beyond that...have you even seen the fucking Mariachi trilogy? What he did with El Mariachi alone should grant him respect. If you really want a comparison...compare what Quentin did with My Best Friend's Birthday (I believe it's still on YouTube), and what Robert did with El Mariachi on similar budgets with similar experience before you fucking say something as stupid as Rodriguez would be nothing without Quentin.

His most underrated, for sure. Nobody ever really seems to like it. Everyone I talk to haven't even seen it, but claim to be big Tarantino fans. I thought it was great. I really need to buy it, too.

I personaly care not what he steals/borrows from other films. The bottom line is this:He makes films that I really enjoy.

I can't exactly pick a favorite film. Probably a toss up between Kill Bill Vol. 2 and Reservoir Dogs.
