I don't find Dracula boring. It's a classic.

Browning was actually a very successful silent film director, I think that's one reason he made it as such. Works wonderfully. I haven't heard the scored version but I will next watch.

To be honest I don't like Lugosi as Dracula in fact the whole film is boring as hell, I can never get past falling asleep when popping this one in. However I was able to stay awake and watch the film with Glass' score and it doesn't fit IMO.

He was the first choice, would have been interesting to say the least. He died just a year short.

It's good in a way really. Lugosi was magic.
