anyway, I love most of the movies on your list GutPunch, especially anything by Park or Miike. You should check a classic called Kwaidan. It recieved a Criterion release a few years back. This film is the grandfather of asian horror.

Except that the Criterion release is terrible compared to the Eureka release. Get an all region player, so you can watch KWAIDAN in its uncut form, with corrected colors, unlike the cut, dark Criterion release.

but Audition, Pan Labyrinth, High Tension, Old Boy and Ils are really good

Good list. I was impressed with Ils too. That was a film that turned out to be far better than I expected.
