The script for this movie is excellent. How many times do you watch a monster movie and the character interactions are by far the best parts of the film?

I've always been a fan of Micheal Moriarty, he's got that kinda deadpan demeanor, even when he's trying to be-you know-intense. Oddly enough I never liked him on Law & Order, go figure.

Very true. Moriarty was ridiculously good in this movie. Carradine gets all the funny lines and plays it off the cuff. For the effects I loved the scenes in the end when the Serpent is grabbing people off the building and you'd see them falling to their deaths, it looked so funny. It was almost as if they figured they couldn't use the same style for any two deaths so each death in the film looks as if it were directed by someone completely different each time.
This is just a perfect example of cult classic. Moriarty was absolutely brilliant in the HOLOCAUST 4 part miniseries. |

caught this one at the theater back in the day loved it ever since. cool monster that wasn't in the the movie enough.
