Ha, you got the Aussie release. What the fucks up with that box anyway? It's crazy. The only thing that interests me about that set is the postcards. What are they like?

It's possibly the worst set I've ever seen. Like you said, it's basically a pizza box.

not a fan of 2 or 6.
2 had a lot of blatant homoerotism that kinda came from nowhere. only a few kills were interesting, freddy's birth from the kid was real far fetched, the kid himself was a douche, and the power of love defeating freddy was lame. 6 was just silly. the power glove and hearing aid kills were already mentioned, but the spike strip freddy lays down for the kid when he's falling thru the sky was like something from looney tunes. if i had to order them, i'd say part 1, part 3, new nightmare, part 4, part 5, part 2, part 6. the dream stalker concept was really smart. if it hadn't been infested with 80's cheese the mythos of krueger could have been seriously fucking scary. i don't support the idea of a remake, but something should be done with this. oh, and fuck freddy vs. jason. worst movie from either franchise for sure. |

okay, some parts wern't executed as well as they should have been but overall its a really entertaining flick. The plot was decent enough, we just didn't need the constant updates on what we were seeing with the narration by Freddy.
