He didn't. His mom bought them for him.

Actually I traded in stuff my dad gave to me. He gets free stuff from his friends who work at movie studios.

Traded in like all of my unwatched flicks to get these.

I don't know why you keep buying these blu rays. If you have an upconverting DVD player you've basically got blu ray.

So, what brings you back to the blu side? Django? It's Django, right?

I honestly don't get Blu Ray. Sure the quality is a bit better, but why would you want to spend more when you can buy a normal copy for a cheaper price? It's the same movie as far as I know. The quality of Blu Ray disks don't justify the higher price.

Its May of 2010 and we are still going through this?

Don't go blu, if you don't want but don't make it seem like its this crazy expensive thing when I haven't spent more than $15 on a new sealed blu in months. And more than half of my collection of blus was purchased for under $10 each. Deals aren't hard to find.

M: Criterion - The definitive version is here. Holy shit, I can't believe the work that was done to restore this to HD standards. For a film made in 1931, you really couldn't ask for more. The supplements are amazing, as in any Criterion disk. My favorite is an interview with Fritz Lang, by William Friedkin(sp).

10/10. Outstanding.
